It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Charles Porrazzo, Sr. who passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026 at the age of 74. He was born September 14, 1951 in New Orleans. He worked at and retired from Northrop Grumman as an outside machinist. He enjoyed fishing and had a love for classic cars. Johnny’s love came from spending time with his family and friends and cruising the coast in his 1940 Buick Super Eight. His love, laughter and sense of humor will be remembered and cherished always. He is survived by his companion of many years Jean Ziegler, his brother Andrew Porrazzo, his daughter, Monique Porrazzo, his stepchildren, George Reno (wife Rechonda), Shelly Williams (husband Ryan,) Lauren Bufkin (husband Nick) his grandchildren Johnny III, Jared Porrazzo, (wife Shelby), Joshua Porrazzo, Aiden Evans, Jordan Reno, Skylar Bufkin, Nicholas Bufkin, Deklin Landry, great grandchild Bennett Porrazzo and many dear family and friends. He was proceeded in death by his father, Charles Porrazzo, mother, Joan Maneri, and his son, John Charles Porrazzo, Jr.
